Picker / Packer

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and meticulous Picker & Packer to join our fulfillment team. This position involves accurately handling daily customer orders by locating products within the warehouse, securely packing items, and labeling packages to ensure timely and flawless delivery to customers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Use pick lists or digital devices such as smartphones and handheld barcode scanners to identify products for order fulfillment.
• Quickly find the correct items, SKUs, sizes, and quantities across warehouse shelves.
• Examine items for any damage or defects before transferring them to the packing area.

• Choose suitable packaging materials including boxes, mailers, and cushioning like bubble wrap or paper fill for safe shipment.
• Accurately attach shipping labels, invoices, and promotional inserts onto packages.
• Seal packages firmly and weigh them according to courier requirements.

• Support routine stock counts and physical inventory checks.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within picking and packing zones while ensuring supply stocks are replenished.
• Immediately alert warehouse supervisors of any inventory errors or damages.

Educational & Experience Requirements

• Completion of secondary education (10th or 12th grade or equivalent) is mandatory.
• Experience ranging from none to one year in warehouse, fulfillment, or retail inventory settings is acceptable; highly motivated freshers are encouraged to apply.

Essential Skills and Physical Requirements

• Basic proficiency in reading and writing in English or Hindi to comprehend product labels and shipping documentation.
• Comfort with using smartphones, basic applications, or barcode scanning devices.
• Strong attention to detail to reduce errors in order fulfillment.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move boxes weighing up to 10 to 15 kilograms.
