Picker - Ecommerce

Job Overview

The Picker is tasked with assembling customer orders from the designated put-away and shelf areas, ensuring adherence to company standards and productivity goals. Responsibilities involve scanning each item, verifying expiration dates, and maintaining order accuracy.

Primary Duties

• Scan and pick items individually to fulfill orders.
• Carry out quality inspections on all selected products.
• Confirm that all goods meet the expiration date policies.
• Coordinate with section leads to verify out-of-stock situations.
• Deliver feedback to pickers regarding any picking errors or product quality issues.
• Keep the put-away area orderly by relocating unused trolleys and crates to storage.
• Report discrepancies such as incorrect product images, locations, or system malfunctions to the line manager.
• Ensure all storage locations and crates have barcodes that can be scanned.
• Maintain goods in their proper areas and ensure they are kept in good condition.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in ecommerce operations.
• Experience in retail online business is advantageous.
