About the Role
As a Picker at Booker, you will play a vital part in exceeding our customers' expectations by working in various store areas. Daily tasks vary and may include restocking shelves, operating tills, managing inventory levels, or selecting items for deliveries. Your efficiency and attention to detail ensure customers receive their complete orders quickly and accurately.
This role requires someone with a proactive mindset, enthusiastic about delivering exceptional customer service, and ready to put extra effort into their duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately select and dispatch goods using a handheld terminal, promptly reporting any discrepancies to the Manager.
- Inspect product quality, verify shelf life, and ensure strong, safe packaging for deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service by processing deliveries efficiently and meeting operational targets.
- Maintain politeness and professionalism when interacting with delivery personnel, handling queries or complaints appropriately and escalating complex issues as needed.

- Demonstrate a passion for exceptional customer service and willingness to go beyond basic duties.
- Reliable, punctual, and presentable at all times during shifts.
