About WYLD Clinics
WYLD Clinics is New Zealand’s premier chiropractic and wellness organization, operating five multi-disciplinary centers throughout Auckland, including locations in Ponsonby, Newmarket, Takapuna, Howick, and Birkenhead. The clinics emphasize a comprehensive approach to health, considering each client’s medical history, lifestyle, and objectives to deliver personalized treatment plans. WYLD Clinics are registered with ACC, do not require referrals, and maintain affiliation with Southern Cross to facilitate straightforward access to services. Employing over 50 expert practitioners, WYLD focuses on enhancing physical movement, comfort, and functionality across New Zealand.
Role Overview
This position is a full-time, on-site physiotherapist role based in Auckland's WYLD Clinics. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating clients with musculoskeletal and functional concerns through comprehensive physical examinations. Developing targeted treatment plans aligned with the clinic’s holistic wellness philosophy is essential.
Day-to-day duties will include delivering evidence-based physiotherapy treatments, instructing clients on rehabilitation exercises, providing injury prevention recommendations, and maintaining detailed clinical documentation per ACC and clinic protocols. Collaborative work with chiropractors and allied health experts will be necessary to ensure coordinated, integrated care. The role also involves educating clients on self-management techniques and engaging in ongoing efforts to enhance clinical practices and client satisfaction.

- Expertise in professional physiotherapy skills such as clinical assessments, manual therapy, and exercise prescription.
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—to clearly explain treatments and health advice to clients, and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent organizational abilities with accurate record maintenance, knowledge of ACC processes, and capacity to manage diverse caseloads efficiently.
- A client-focused mindset, utilizing evidence-based approaches to promote client empowerment and wellbeing.
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physiotherapy, current registration with the New Zealand Physiotherapy Board, and the legal eligibility to work in New Zealand.
- Preferred: Experience in private practice or musculoskeletal physiotherapy, familiarity with interdisciplinary services such as chiropractic and acupuncture, and adaptability to a dynamic clinic environment.
