Physics Teacher for IGCSE, AS & A Level Curriculum

About the Role

STEMM Education Center in Qatar is inviting applications for a dedicated Physics Teacher to join their academic staff. The position involves delivering quality Physics education tailored for students following the British Curriculum, specifically IGCSE, AS, and A-Level courses at locations in Al Khor and Al Thakhira.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging, concept-driven Physics lessons aligned with IGCSE and advanced level syllabi.
• Prepare students thoroughly for CAIE and Pearson Edexcel examinations.
• Create comprehensive lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and revision tools.
• Regularly evaluate students through examinations and track academic performance.
• Offer constructive feedback and targeted assistance to maximize student achievement.
• Maintain a disciplined and motivating classroom atmosphere promoting student success.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and the academic management team.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Engineering, Education, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of Physics as per IGCSE, AS and A-Level standards.
• Familiar with CAIE and/or Pearson Edexcel curricula and examination formats.
• Previous experience teaching the British curriculum is highly regarded.
• Exhibits excellent skills in English communication, presentation, and classroom management.
• Able to explain complex concepts clearly and nurture problem-solving skills in students.
• Professional, punctual, committed, and student-centered attitude.
• Applicants currently residing in Qatar will be prioritized.
