- Conduct commissioning, user acceptance testing, and document results accurately.
- Provide training for customers and end users on system operations.
- Develop and maintain internal documentation including wiki entries for new services or devices.

- Contribute to process documentation and refine existing procedures.
- Participate in after-hours support rotations as necessary.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Comprehensive experience with enterprise physical and electronic security systems including video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, ALPR, and intercom technologies.
- Minimum of five years of practical experience working with top-tier security platforms such as Genetec, Milestone, and Inner Range, supported by relevant current certifications.
- Demonstrated involvement in all project phases: pre-sales, configuration, commissioning, testing, training, documentation, and ongoing support.
- Experience collaborating on-site with installation teams; hands-on installation skills are beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of IP networking concepts applicable to security, including VLANs, PoE, multicast, bandwidth and storage planning, and time synchronization.
- Familiarity with vendor communications, including managing support tickets, licenses, and completing vendor-led training sessions.
- Possession or eligibility of a PSPLA Certificate of Approval for security technicians.
- Capability to successfully pass Ministry of Justice criminal background screening and obtain security clearances required by critical infrastructure clients, including airport access credentials.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, capable of producing clear technical documentation and explaining complex topics to non-specialists.
Preferred but Not Mandatory
- Certifications from providers such as Genetec, Milestone, Inner Range, Axis Communications, Hanwha Vision, and i-PRO.
- Experience with critical infrastructure or transport sectors including aviation, ports, and energy.
- Knowledge of security system hardening practices including OSDP secure channel implementation, certificate and firmware lifecycle management, and penetration test remediation.
