Physical Design Engineer

Overview

Sunrise Biztech Systems Pvt. Ltd. is urgently seeking a Physical Design Engineer to join one of our premier semiconductor clients in Bengaluru on a 1-year contract. The ideal candidate should have substantial hands-on experience in advanced physical design, predominantly focusing on high-performance designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform automated synthesis and timing-driven place and route for RTL blocks targeting high-speed data path and control logic.
• Implement automated design flows including clock tree synthesis, clock and power gating methodologies, scan stitching, and optimization to enhance timing, power consumption, area, and reduce design cycle time.
• Manage floor planning, define design methodologies, integrate IPs, and conduct comprehensive checks covering logic equivalence, physical, timing, and electrical quality assurance leading up to final signoff for substantial IP deliveries.
• Utilize various tools for logic synthesis, place and route, timing verification, and comprehensive design checks to ensure physical and electrical integrity.
• Employ scripting skills to automate and streamline design workflows.
• Collaborate effectively with geographically distributed teams, demonstrating solid communication and multitasking capabilities across multiple projects.

Experience & Technical Expertise

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in physical design, with a strong emphasis on high-performance designs.
• Proficient with physical design and timing concepts, including a good grasp of computer architecture and organization.
• Hands-on experience with FinFET and Dual Patterning technologies across 16/14/10/7/5nm nodes.
• Strong analytical skills paired with meticulous attention to detail.

Eligibility & Education

Applicants must possess a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization.
