Role and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test applications using Symfony framework (version 5.x and above), currently transitioning from Symfony 3.4.
- Develop with PHP 8.x, with migration underway from PHP 7.4.
- Utilize authentication protocols such as OAuth and integrate REST and SOAP APIs.
- Work with containerization tools (Docker), databases including MongoDB/Atlas and MySQL 5.7+, and implement unit testing using PHPUnit.
- Employ continuous integration tools like Jenkins and manage version control with Git.
- Adhere to Agile and Scrum methodologies to ensure efficient development cycles.
- Integrate and connect various Learning Management Systems (LMS) platforms using modern authentication standards, with a focus on LTI 1.3 protocols.
Preferred Skills and Advantages
- Knowledge or experience with Java 13 or higher, specifically Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, CanJS, and React.
- Experience with Python programming.
- Understanding or usage of PHP Behat framework for behavior-driven development is beneficial.
