Role Overview
The position of Photo Booth Assistant is a full-time, onsite role located in Doha, Qatar. The incumbent will be responsible for assembling, operating, and dismantling photo booth equipment during events, ensuring optimal lighting setups, camera alignment, and smooth guest movement. This includes guiding guests through the photo-taking process, managing props and backgrounds, and overseeing both instant printouts and digital photo delivery.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Set up and breakdown photo booth gear with attention to detail and safety.
- Operate equipment during events, managing lighting and camera positioning for high-quality photos.
- Assist guests by explaining procedures and managing prop and backdrop usage.
- Monitor print output and digital delivery systems for timely distribution of photos.
- Perform basic image editing or retouching as needed.
- Maintain equipment functionality by troubleshooting minor technical issues.
- Keep the workspace tidy and organized throughout events.
- Coordinate effectively with event organizers and team members to uphold MirMir’s service standards.
- Represent the company professionally in all interactions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Fundamental knowledge of photography including camera operation and composition principles.
- Understanding of lighting techniques with ability to adapt setups for both indoor and outdoor conditions.
- Competency in learning new software or programs relevant to the role.
- Strong communication skills demonstrated by clear and courteous guest interaction.
- Capability to work onsite during event hours, including evenings and weekends, handling setup and teardown tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail, dependability, and capacity to remain composed under pressure.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects related to equipment handling.
- Basic troubleshooting expertise for photography and printing devices.
- Experience in events, hospitality, or photography preferred but not mandatory.
- Fluent English language skills required.
- Valid driver’s license is a must.
