Job description
Overview
We are looking for a responsible Phlebotomist / Sample Collection Technician to safely collect blood and other biological specimens from patients, either by visiting their locations or attending walk-in clients. This role demands adherence to strict hygiene and safety standards to maintain the integrity of samples and patient comfort.
Key Duties
- Visit patients or receive walk-ins to collect blood and biological specimens in a safe and professional manner.
- Accurately identify, label, and store collected samples according to prescribed safety protocols.
- Ensure samples are kept at appropriate temperatures and transported promptly to the laboratory.
- Maintain cleanliness, follow sterilization procedures, and dispose of biomedical waste safely.
- Calmly explain collection procedures and address any patient queries or anxieties.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of DMLT or B.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology, or completion of a certified phlebotomy course.
- Previous hands-on experience performing venipuncture and familiarity with laboratory processes is advantageous.
- Must have a personal two-wheeler and a valid driving license if assigned to home visit collections.
Additional Information
This position is based in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, and offers a monthly remuneration ranging between INR 20,000 and INR 40,000.

Diploma / ITI / Vocational
