Job Overview
Apollo Pharmacy is seeking Pharmacy Assistants for retail branches located in Patanchure, Beeramguda, Ameenpur, Lingampally, Chandanagar, Madeenaguda, and Osman Nagar within Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. Candidates should be between 18 to 35 years of age. The role encompasses assisting customers in selecting appropriate medicines, reading prescriptions accurately, and managing billing processes.
Candidate Profiles
- Pharmacist with D/B/M in Pharmacy and PCI Certificate (both male and female)
- Trainee Pharmacist with D/B/M in Pharmacy without PCI Certificate (male only)
- Pharmacy Assistant with SSC, Intermediate, or Degree plus 2 years' experience in medical stores (male only)
- Pharmacy Trainee with SSC and above (male only, 18-26 years)
- Apprentice with SSC qualification (male only, 18-26 years)
Compensation and Benefits
Monthly salary ranges from ₹13,500 to ₹22,000 gross plus ₹2,000 incentives. Employees enjoy Provident Fund and ESI benefits, annual bonuses, yearly increments, weekly day off, and uniforms.
Responsibilities
- Acquire and apply an understanding of various medicines
- Interpret and read medical prescriptions accurately
- Recommend appropriate medicines for common ailments
- Offer alternative brands if the preferred one is unavailable
- Possess basic computer proficiency for billing and invoicing
- Handle invoicing and billing operations effectively
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy (D. Pharm, B. Pharm, or M. Pharm)
- Freshers or candidates with relevant retail pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge about drugs and medicines
- Dedication to serving the community coupled with good interpersonal skills
