Pharmacist

About the Role

A respected healthcare organization based in Bangalore is actively seeking experienced professionals to contribute to their growth initiative by filling the position of Pharmacist. The role involves managing medication dispensing, customer counseling, and pharmacy operations within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescribed medications in line with valid prescriptions.
• Advise customers on correct medication usage, dosages, and safety precautions.
• Oversee inventory management, including tracking stock levels and expiry dates.
• Adhere to pharmacy regulations and follow company Standard Operating Procedures strictly.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure smooth daily functioning of the pharmacy.
• For senior pharmacists: Mentor junior pharmacists and assist with pharmacy operations.
• Maintain records of expired and damaged drugs quarterly using Marg software.
• Verify pharmacy order entries and update daily cash sales records.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Karnataka Pharmacy Council (KSPC) Registration or License.
• Educational qualification of D.Pharm, B.Pharm, M.Pharma, or any graduate degree.
• Between 1 to 5 years of experience in retail or hospital pharmacy environments.
• Strong communication skills and aptitude for customer service.
