Pharmacist

Job Overview

The Pharmacist will actively promote patient autonomy by setting care objectives, educating patients and their families on medical conditions, medications, and self-care techniques, while addressing their questions.

Key Duties

• Foster collaborative relationships within the healthcare team by sharing information, addressing requests, building rapport, and engaging in collective problem-solving.
• Provide counselling to clients and patients in both individual and group environments to assist with overcoming dependencies, life adjustments, and behavioral changes.
• Support the care team through effective knowledge management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Sound understanding of medical terminology, patient counselling approaches, and basic computer proficiency is preferred.
• Excellent communication abilities, patience, enthusiasm, and fluency in at least two to three languages including Telugu, English, and Hindi.
• Skills in persuasion, verbal communication, health education, patient service, relationship building, conflict resolution, coordination, active listening, scheduling, and teamwork.
• Capacity to quickly grasp new information and manage several responsibilities simultaneously.
