Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated and qualified Pharmacists to join our retail pharmacy team at various Dava India Pharmacy locations across Kerala, including Kochi, Thrissur, Kollam, Kottayam, and Pathanamthitta. This full-time role involves professional dispensing of medicines, regulatory compliance, inventory management, and delivering exemplary customer service within our pharmacy stores.
Primary Responsibilities
- Precisely dispense medicines following prescriptions and organizational protocols.
- Validate prescriptions ensuring accurate dosages, correct quantities, and proper labeling.
- Provide essential medicine-related advice and information to customers.
- Maintain comprehensive records for medicines, prescriptions, and all pharmacy transactions.
- Keep track of stock quantities and facilitate timely reordering.
- Inspect expiry dates and guarantee appropriate storage of medicinal products.
- Adhere strictly to all pharmacy and drug regulatory requirements.
- Uphold cleanliness, order, and discipline inside the pharmacy environment.
- Perform billing and other related in-store functions as necessary.
- Assist the Store Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Deliver excellent customer experiences and foster positive customer relationships.
- Support stock audits and perform additional operational duties as required.
Qualifications and Eligibility
- Diploma (D.Pharm), Bachelor (B.Pharm), or Master (M.Pharm) degree from a recognized institution.
- Mandatory valid Pharmacy Council registration.
- Preference for candidates with registration from PCI or respective State Pharmacy Councils.
- Open to fresh graduates and experienced pharmacists.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, particularly in customer engagement.
- Preparedness to work in retail pharmacy settings with rotational shift schedules.
