Pharmacist

Key Duties

• Accurately and promptly prepare and dispense prescription medications.
• Maintain sufficient inventory of medications and over-the-counter supplements to fulfill patient demands.
• Provide thorough patient counseling on new and existing medications with a positive and helpful approach.
• Engage with customers and the public to raise awareness through events like health days and clinics.
• Address patient and physician inquiries and requests promptly and constructively.
• Manage and control costs within the pharmacy dispensary effectively.
• Offer consistent training and support to pharmacy staff, including technicians, interns, and students.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with a valid Class A Pharmacists license.
• Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional conduct.
• Proven leadership capabilities and performance management expertise.
• Experience in community-based marketing strategies to grow business.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships.
• Effective problem-solving skills, including planning and executing action steps.
• Proficiency with personal computing and familiarity with Healthwatch and/or KROLL pharmacy software is an advantage.

Additional Information

This role requires successful completion of a criminal background check for candidates aged 18 and older. The salary range is $50.55 to $65.45 per hour and may vary by location and individual qualifications.
