About the Role

This role involves delivering person-focused support to clients across Rooty Hill and nearby Western Sydney suburbs such as Mount Druitt, Blacktown, Seven Hills, Quakers Hill, Plumpton, St Marys, Penrith, and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Offering assistance with personal care and mobility
- Providing support tailored to individuals living with dementia, implementing sensitive strategies when encountering resistance to care
- Helping clients with showering, bathing, dressing, and grooming routines
- Providing toileting and continence assistance
- Supporting oral hygiene care
- Prompting clients to take medications as prescribed
- Assisting clients with their eating and drinking needs
- Assisting with use of mobility aids and equipment, customized to each client's needs
- Preparing meals and performing light household tasks
- Delivering companionship, emotional encouragement, and facilitating community engagement when necessary
Qualifications and Experience
- Preferred experience in aged care, disability support, or community care services
- Qualifications in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability Support, or Nursing
- Valid driver's licence with access to an insured and reliable vehicle to travel between client visits
- Possession of current First Aid and CPR certifications
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one
- Availability and flexibility to work various shifts across multiple locations
