Personal and Research Assistant

Role Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and dependable Personal and Research Assistant to support both administrative tasks and research activities in an academic or professional environment.

Key Duties

• Perform comprehensive literature reviews and produce succinct summaries of academic research.
• Support the preparation of research instruments such as surveys and interviews, while handling the organization of collected data.
• Review, edit, and proofread various documents including reports, research papers, presentations, and correspondence.
• Manage bibliographic references utilizing software tools like Zotero, EndNote, or Mendeley.
• Schedule, coordinate meetings, arrange travel, and ensure timely follow-ups on tasks.
• Maintain the confidentiality of important documents and collaborate effectively with relevant stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of an MPhil or Master's degree is preferred.
• Educational background in engineering, construction management, or a closely related discipline.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written, with strong command over grammar and style.
• Proven research capability coupled with analytical skills and proficient report writing.
• Competence in using Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with academic research databases.
• Additional expertise in statistical or qualitative data analysis software such as SPSS, SmartPLS, or NVivo is advantageous.
• Exemplary organizational skills, discretion, reliability, and the ability to work autonomously.
