Role Overview
The Performer will take part in live entertainment shows, corporate and private functions, and special productions across Doha. Responsibilities include rehearsing assigned acts, collaborating with choreographers and directors, attending costume and technical fittings, and maintaining performance readiness through continuous practice. The role involves close cooperation with event coordinators and technical teams to assure seamless execution, adherence to safety protocols, and tailoring performances to varied audiences and settings. Working hours may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by event schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in rehearsals and live shows during various events and productions.
- Collaborate effectively with choreographers, directors, and technical staff to enhance show quality.
- Attend all costume fittings and technical rehearsals to ensure preparedness.
- Maintain consistent performance standards and adaptability across different audience types and venues.
- Follow all venue safety guidelines and comply with operational protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Proven background in live performance disciplines such as stage acting, dance, music, or circus arts.
- Strong ability to connect with and captivate diverse audiences through stage presence.
- Quick aptitude for learning choreography or scripts and ability to incorporate feedback constructively.
- Demonstrated professionalism, including punctuality, reliability, and effective collaboration with production teams.
- Physical endurance to sustain regular rehearsals and multiple live performances.
- Proficient communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays according to event demands.
- Prior experience in the entertainment, events, or hospitality sectors within Doha or the surrounding region is beneficial.
