Job Responsibilities

• Examine application architectures, business needs, and real-world production usage to craft suitable performance testing methods and workload patterns.
• Plan and carry out various performance tests including baseline, load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability assessments.
• Create, refine, and maintain performance testing scripts utilizing Apache JMeter.
• Develop realistic workload scenarios that simulate diverse user journeys, transaction rates, concurrency, and business cases.
• Apply JMeter features like parameterization, correlation, assertions, timers, controllers, and both pre- and post-processors.
• Conduct performance tests on web applications, REST/SOAP APIs, as well as distributed systems.
• Run tests under varied load conditions and analyze system responses at different concurrency levels.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in performance testing.
• Proficient in Apache JMeter, especially scripting and advanced functionalities such as correlation and parameterization.
• Solid understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, REST API and JSON/XML data formats, along with authentication mechanisms, cookies, and session management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of diverse testing techniques including load, stress, endurance, and spike testing.
