About the Role

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Developer skilled in CRM and HCM application development and support, working with PeopleTools and various application development technologies. The role entails designing, enhancing, and maintaining PeopleSoft CRM or HCM applications version 8.8 or later, ensuring high-quality solutions that align with best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, upgrade, and support PeopleSoft CRM/HCM solutions (version 8.8+).
• Develop and sustain custom functionalities using Peoplecode, Application Engine, Application Packages, custom pages/components, Application Messaging, HTML, XML, and JavaScript.
• Create and debug complex SQL and PL/SQL database solutions.
• Participate in all development lifecycle stages including testing, documentation, migration, and production support according to defined PeopleSoft standards.
• Analyze challenging technical demands and craft solutions to optimize application performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate effectively with IT teams, business stakeholders, and users to deliver quality outputs.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• At least 8 years of IT experience with a strong focus on PeopleSoft technical development.
• Proven expertise in PeopleSoft CRM and/or HCM modules, version 8.8 or newer.
• Proficient in using PeopleTools version 8.5x or later.
• Advanced development skills in Peoplecode, Application Engine, Application Packages, custom components and pages, plus integration technologies.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities to address complex requirements efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills in verbal, written, and interpersonal contexts.

Preferred Experience

Experience with Australian government Child Protection application modules is highly advantageous.
