Role Overview
We seek a confident and pragmatic People Systems Manager to head our People Services team. Your leadership will enhance our People & Culture (P&C) systems, workflows, and the employee experience. This role suits someone passionate about leading teams, streamlining complex systems into practical solutions, and continuously improving how work is performed.
Exciting initiatives are underway, including significant investment in onboarding starting this year. You will closely collaborate with the Project Management Office (PMO) and Group Digital Services to modernize legacy systems, implement automation, enhance reporting using Power BI, and explore AI applications to optimize team performance. Future projects may involve improving integration across recruitment, payroll, and workforce rostering systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and nurture a team composed of P&C coordinators, systems administrators, and specialists.
- Play a pivotal role in onboarding transformation, managing process design, implementation, and adoption.
- Collaborate with PMO, Digital Services, and P&C teams to upgrade legacy systems, workflows, and integrations.
- Leverage data analytics, reporting, and insights to support informed decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Balance essential requirements with desirable features to maximize investment impact.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Demonstrate resilience and persistence in steering change amid complexity, competing tasks, and legacy practices.
- Proven leadership experience in HR operations, systems, or shared services, with familiarity in HRIS, payroll, recruitment, or rostering platforms.
- Adopt a practical, continuous improvement approach, distinguishing critical needs from nice-to-have elements.
- Comfortable handling data, reporting, and digital tools with enthusiasm for automation, AI, and Power BI.
- Possess strong commercial acumen, optimizing resource use while prioritizing employee and manager experiences.
- Engage collaboratively with a hands-on leadership style that motivates teams and maintains momentum.
