Role Overview
We are partnering with a global fintech firm based in London seeking a commercial People Partner to join their team in a hybrid working model (4 days office, 1 day remote). This company, with around 400 employees, is a market disruptor at a pivotal stage of growth, offering an excellent chance for a Business Partner to step up and make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
The role is a recently expanded generalist position encompassing the entire employee lifecycle. You will combine strategic collaboration with hands-on implementation, turning business priorities into practical people strategies, mentoring senior leadership, and utilizing data insights to inform decisions. The position is embedded within an energetic and agile team focused on entrepreneurship rather than bureaucratic processes. Critical to the role is overseeing organizational culture, including driving engagement, equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI), and wellbeing initiatives. Additionally, managing employee relations with a focus on handling complex cases sensitively and collaboratively with leadership is essential.
Candidate Profile
- Approximately 6 to 7 years of advancing experience in HR, with recent years at a Business Partner level.
- Strong commercial acumen, pragmatic approach, and confidence to operate independently in a high-paced environment.
- Hands-on history of leading employee engagement and EDI programs.
- Experience navigating and resolving intricate employee relations issues.
- Exceptional relationship management and influencing capabilities.
- Motivated to grow professionally, passionate about HR work.
- Background in financial services, fintech, or other regulated sectors is highly preferred.
