About the Company

EROAD is a successful New Zealand technology firm specializing in telematics-based fleet management solutions used in New Zealand, Australia, and North America. The company is publicly traded on the NZX and ASX, with a globally active People & Culture team seeking a People Experience Partner to oversee company-wide people programs and enhance employee experience as the organization expands.

Role Overview

The People Experience Partner will take full ownership of initiatives that define how employees perceive and engage with EROAD daily.

  • Manage and continuously refine the employee experience platform, handling its entire lifecycle from creation to ongoing improvements.
  • Coordinate vital people management cycles including performance appraisals, talent development, succession planning, engagement surveys, and remuneration reviews.
  • Lead employee feedback initiatives, analyze data, and drive actionable improvements.
  • Oversee internal communication and recognition systems for a global and distributed workforce.
  • Collaborate with People Operations, HR Business Partners, and leadership to integrate programs organization-wide.
  • Guide virtual and geographically dispersed teams, ensuring accountability for results.
  • Leverage workforce analytics to identify patterns, support decision-making, and evaluate program impacts.

Candidate Profile

Successful candidates will have substantial experience in HR operations or program management with the capability to implement effective people strategies.

  • Minimum of five years' direct experience in HR operations and/or people program management.
  • Proven ability to design, deploy, and iteratively improve employee-centered processes and programs.
  • Background in conducting employee listening and engagement efforts, converting feedback into meaningful actions.
  • Experience running critical HR programs including performance management, talent and succession planning, employee engagement, and compensation reviews.
  • Skill in analyzing people metrics to discern trends, make informed decisions, and assess program success.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience leading remote teams and fostering accountability among team members.
  • Strong aptitude for developing stakeholder relationships across different organizational tiers.
  • Proficient in creating content and coordinating internal communication flows.
  • Familiarity with HR platforms such as Workday, Culture Amp, and Bonusly is advantageous, although comparable HRIS, engagement, or recognition software experience is also valued.
  • A formal HR title is not necessary if accompanied by equivalent experience in program or project management.
