Role Summary
We seek a seasoned Manager to join our People Consulting team located in Auckland or Wellington. This role demands innovative thinking to lead a high-performance team addressing complex people-related issues. You will partner with client engagement teams to design and deliver workforce solutions covering all aspects of change projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver complex change initiatives across varied organizations.
- Create and implement practical people-focused solutions, prepare in-depth reports, and present recommendations to clients.
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure success.
- Engage and advise internal and external stakeholders on change management and learning projects.
- Coach and develop junior consultants by providing guidance and facilitating learning opportunities.
Candidate Profile and Desired Expertise
We welcome candidates who may not meet every criterion but bring strengths and a growth mindset. Ideal candidates have substantial experience and skills in:
- Change management including strategy, stakeholder engagement, communication, readiness, learning design, and employee experience.
- HR transformation such as HR strategy, HRIS and technology, payroll outsourcing, process optimization, and risk management.
- Talent management involving operating models, organizational design, workforce planning, analytics, retention, and succession.
- A minimum of five years in consulting with demonstrated success building client relationships and delivering customized, value-driven solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (including storytelling), project management, and multitasking abilities.
- Leveraging digital platforms (for example, SAP, Microsoft, ServiceNow) and emergent technologies including AI for process improvement and organizational change.
- Experience with retail, consumer, or manufacturing sectors is a strong advantage.
Certifications (Highly Preferred)
- Change management certifications such as AIM, CPCM, ATD Change Management, PROSCI, CCMP, or APMG Agile Change Management.
- Adjacent certifications including PMP, PRINCE2 for project governance, ITIL for IT service change management, and Lean Six Sigma for process improvement.
