Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities

• Independently manage monthly salary and payroll processing
• Maintain and update employee master data
• Handle employee onboarding, offboarding, and employment status changes
• Liaise with health insurance providers, tax offices, and other official institutions
• Prepare analyses and reports related to payroll
• Support year-end processes and audits
• Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll inquiries
• Contribute to the enhancement and digitalization of payroll workflows

Qualifications

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
• Experience in payroll or salary accounting is desirable
• Good knowledge of German income tax and social security law
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Meticulous, organized, and dependable work style
• Discreet and responsible handling of sensitive personnel data
• Proficiency in spoken and written German and English
