Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Payroll Specialist to join our finance team, responsible for delivering precise, timely, and efficient payroll services. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for working with numbers, strong attention to detail, and who prioritizes confidentiality and accuracy when managing employee payroll information.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately processing payroll within established deadlines.
- Managing employee lifecycle events, including onboarding new hires, offboarding leavers, implementing salary adjustments, applying deductions, and handling statutory payments.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date payroll records.
- Addressing payroll-related inquiries raised by clients promptly and professionally.
- Generating reports and payroll statements as required.
- Ensuring full compliance with applicable payroll legislation and regulations.
- Collaborating closely with clients, HMRC, and pension providers to resolve any payroll-related issues.

- Proven prior experience working in payroll roles.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
- Thorough understanding of payroll processes and legal requirements.
- Proficiency in payroll software systems and Microsoft Excel.
