Job description
Position Overview
In your role as Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely monthly payroll processing of all employees. You will serve as a knowledgeable contact person, providing advice to both employees and managers on all payroll-related matters. Daily tasks include maintaining and managing employee master data. Additionally, you will prepare analyses and reports essential to your activities. You are also entrusted with overseeing wage tax and social security audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly payroll accounting accurately and on schedule for all staff members.
- Advise employees and supervisors regarding all questions related to payroll.
- Maintain and manage personnel master data efficiently.
- Create reports and analytics as part of regular payroll processes.
- Coordinate and support wage tax and social security inspections.
Candidate Profile
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or an equivalent qualification.
- Solid professional experience in payroll accounting.
- Confident use of MS Excel and preferably experience with SAP HCM and/or SuccessFactors.
- Extensive knowledge in labor law, wage tax, and social security legislation.
- Enthusiastic about process optimization and digitalization, with a strong service orientation and reliability.
