Key Responsibilities
- Independently and timely prepare payroll processing using SAP, coordinating all payroll-related procedures with an external payroll service provider.
- Maintain HR data systems meticulously and assess payroll components accurately, ensuring compliance with tax and social insurance regulations.
- Oversee and assure quality standards of the external service provider while compiling, analyzing, and validating payroll data, reports, and key metrics.
- Collaborate proactively with external stakeholders such as authorities, health insurance providers, and social security agencies.
- Support execution and preparation of HR standard processes including hiring, transfers, and reclassifications.
- Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for employees, managers, and internal interfaces regarding payroll-related inquiries.
Qualifications and Skills
- Completed commercial apprenticeship; specialized further training like certified HR specialist or payroll administrator is preferred.
- Several years of professional experience in payroll processing with solid understanding of wage tax, social security law, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Familiarity with payroll and time tracking systems, ideally SAP, complemented by advanced MS Excel skills and good command of English.
- Structured, precise, and autonomous approach to work combined with strong service orientation, teamwork, and proactive mindset.
