Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our payroll team. The role involves managing weekly and monthly payroll operations for over 2000 employees across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Key Duties

  • Verifying employees’ worked hours.
  • Coordinating with Store Managers on exceptions such as documentation issues, work hours, holiday and sick pay entitlements.
  • Executing payroll processing accurately, punctually, and in compliance with regulations on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborating with Human Resources to keep employee records up to date.
  • Calculating statutory payments including holiday and sick pay.
  • Handling records for new starters and departing employees, reviewing and confirming employee information.
  • Addressing inquiries related to timesheets, payslips, and other payroll concerns.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of taxation and employment legislation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail paired with solid numerical aptitude.
  • Excellent time management and organisational capabilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise tasks under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills coupled with a reliable, positive, supportive work attitude.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with payroll software such as Kronos and/or Megapay is advantageous.
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in payroll administration is essential.

  • Competitive annual salary between €40,000 and €42,000.
  • Work schedule includes 4 days onsite with 1 day per week remote.
