Role Overview
We are seeking a Payroll Officer to join our Dubai office. This role involves managing payroll processing for employees located in the UK, UAE, and Spain, including handling monthly data and ad hoc payments through the ADP system.
Key Duties
- Execute monthly payroll processing covering static data and any special payments for starters, leavers, and changes.
- Manage statutory payments, overtime, bonus, commission, and signing bonuses.
- Update bank account information, addresses, and process childcare vouchers.
- Handle monthly currency conversion for payments and pension enrollments, amendments, and salary sacrifice contributions.
- Process local employer cost accruals and prepare payment files accordingly.
- Generate and distribute debit notes attributing salary costs across Tradition offices.
- Complete end-of-month account reconciliations for various entities utilizing Excel and AS400 accounting software.
- Develop and share detailed Excel and ADP reports every month along with payroll journal postings.
- Support the accounts team with bonus accrual data and prepare tax year-end documentation.
- Participate in PSA processes and stay updated on legislative changes affecting payroll.
- Administer payments associated with earnings attachments and liaise with government bodies and relevant agencies.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Desk Heads to deliver comprehensive payroll services.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Sound understanding of payroll statutory regulations.
- Previous payroll officer experience in a comparable role.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Experience working with ADP Celergo/iHCM payroll systems.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
