Role Overview
The Payroll Administrator role entails assisting with the precise and prompt execution of payroll duties, managing employee inquiries, reporting, and general payroll administration. This position demands strict confidentiality, meticulousness, and the capability to meet deadlines within a dynamic work environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in processing weekly Irish payroll for roughly 600 employees.
- Examine expense claims to detect inconsistencies and ensure payroll records' completeness and accuracy.
- Coordinate with managers regarding payroll-related questions and required details.
- Address employee payroll questions professionally and promptly.
- Support payroll reporting and administration aligned with compliance standards.
- Prepare payroll reports for Irish Revenue and other relevant authorities as needed.
- Help process UK out-of-pocket expense claims.
- Assist the broader payroll team with various duties and general administration tasks.
Required Skills and Experience
- Prior experience with payroll is advantageous but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional attention to detail, high accuracy, and solid organizational abilities.
- Skill to prioritize competing tasks and adhere to deadlines in a busy setting.
- High confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion are essential.
- Effective verbal and written communication capabilities.
