Role Overview
Join Blacktown City Council's dedicated payroll team where precise execution, excellent customer service, and collaborative teamwork are essential each week. As a Payroll Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the Council’s weekly payroll runs smoothly, enabling employees to receive accurate and timely payments. Your contribution supports the workforce delivering essential services throughout Blacktown City.
Primary Responsibilities
Work alongside the payroll team managing timesheets, updating payroll and master files, performing payroll reconciliations, and maintaining payroll records. Your duties include assigning labour costs, reviewing payroll data, verifying adjustment calculations and termination payouts, preparing payroll documentation, and ensuring compliance with applicable agreements, policies, and legislation. Additionally, you will respond to inquiries from both employees and external stakeholders by providing prompt and precise payroll information.
