Job Role
This full-time, onsite position based in Kottayam involves managing payment operations. The Payment Agent’s duties include receiving, verifying, and documenting customer payments from multiple channels daily. Responsibilities extend to reconciling payments, ensuring accurate financial record maintenance, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. The agent will communicate with customers and internal departments to resolve payment issues, respond to basic account inquiries, and provide updates on payment statuses. Additional tasks include preparing standard payment reports, assisting with audits, and contributing to process enhancements for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Strong numerical skills and acute attention to detail for precise payment handling and bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with basic accounting or billing software, spreadsheets, and electronic payment systems.
- Good communication and customer support capabilities to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Organizational skills and time management to process multiple transactions, adhere to deadlines, and follow established protocols.
- High integrity, dependability, and confidentiality when dealing with financial information.
- Ability to work on-site in Kottayam and collaborate in a structured team environment.
- Educational background of secondary level or higher in commerce, finance, accounting, or related areas preferred.

Compensation
The role offers a monthly salary of 25,000 INR.
