Key Responsibilities
- Develop precise patterns from technical documentation, adhering to high-end fashion criteria and client requirements.
- Construct samples from patterns, making fitting adjustments to ensure alignment with design expectations.
- Grade patterns across various sizes to maintain consistent quality.
- Translate technical specifications into practical patterns and samples without compromising design integrity.
- Supervise prototype production to ensure design and production standards are met.
- Handle specialized and custom design projects, tailoring patterns to unique client needs.
- Collaborate closely with designers, product development, and production teams to integrate patterns effectively into final products.
- Ensure quality control throughout the pattern and sample creation stages, promptly resolving any issues.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Educational background in Fashion Design, Pattern Making, or related disciplines.
- Significant pattern-making experience within women's ready-to-wear, particularly in luxury fashion.
- Proficiency with CAD and pattern-making software tools.
- Deep understanding of garment construction, fitting, and grading processes.
- Creative ability to convert design concepts and tech specs into functional, visually appealing patterns.
- Strong attention to detail and exactness in pattern development and sample production.
- Team-oriented with the capacity to perform well under pressure.
- Flexible approach to accommodate custom requests and pattern modifications.
Additional Information
Work Schedule: Monday through Saturday.
