About the Role

Kristina Fidelskaya is seeking a skilled and meticulous Pattern Maker to join its atelier in Dubai. This role involves crafting precise patterns for collections, bespoke creations, and made-to-measure garments that embody the brand's feminine and elegant aesthetics. Reporting directly to the Head of Atelier and the Creative Director, the role demands a hands-on approach to pattern development, combining technical skill with a deep understanding of fit and garment construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Create patterns from sketches and design references, translating the Creative Director's vision into meticulously balanced patterns.
• Employ both flat pattern cutting and draping techniques as required.
• Develop patterns at every stage: from initial toiles, samples, fittings, to final production-ready versions.
• Refine and grade patterns across size ranges, ensuring consistent fit and silhouette.
• Document and archive pattern versions along with technical notes for atelier staff.
• Participate actively in fittings with models, clients, and the creative team, promptly identifying fit issues and proposing adjustments.
• Collaborate closely with the atelier team to implement fit corrections and maintain garment elegance.
• Customize patterns for bespoke and made-to-measure orders, supporting client fittings and alterations with accuracy and care.
• Maintain close communication with tailoring staff regarding construction details and assist colleagues with technical queries.
• Contribute to a professional, calm, and quality-focused working atmosphere.

Candidate Profile and Skills

• Approximately 4 to 8 years’ experience in pattern making within luxury womenswear, eveningwear, couture, bridal, or bespoke fashion sectors.
• Proficient in flat pattern cutting, draping, grading, and tailoring techniques including corsetry and structured garments.
• Strong knowledge of working with delicate fabrics such as silk and eveningwear textiles.
• Experience with made-to-measure and bespoke garment production.
• Familiarity with pattern design software like Gerber, Lectra, or CLO 3D is preferred though not mandatory.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Professional communication skills in English.
• Located in or willing to relocate to Dubai.
