Overview

A well-established apparel development and manufacturing company based in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a dedicated full-time Pattern Maker experienced with Gerber AccuMark software. The role involves designing and grading patterns to meet design intent and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize Gerber AccuMark to develop, grade, and prepare marker patterns.
• Translate designer concepts to achieve the appropriate fit and garment balance.
• Create patterns for prototypes, sampling, and mass production stages.
• Grade patterns systematically, maintaining accurate measurement specifications.
• Ensure patterns align with factory operational capabilities and production processes.
• Work with both new design sketches and existing patterns effectively.
• Engage in fitting sessions to identify and resolve issues related to fit and garment balance.
• Handle various fabric types throughout the pattern-making process.
• Convey design intent and garment construction details clearly to factory staff.

Qualifications

• Proficiency and prior experience in Gerber AccuMark software.
• Strong competency in Microsoft Office and precision in data entry tasks.
• Capability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent; a diploma in apparel design is preferred.
• Availability to commence work immediately is advantageous.

Additional Information

Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. The workplace is located in Vancouver, British Columbia. Compensation is hourly and negotiable depending on experience and quality. Interested candidates can contact Cyndi via phone or email.
