Paste Fill Operator

Position Overview

This permanent opportunity at Granny Smith Gold Mine involves installing and operating underground paste fill systems to facilitate safe and efficient mining development and production. Candidates with experience in underground mining or paste crew operations are highly valued.

Work Schedule and Location

• Fly-in fly-out (FIFO) from Perth
• Rotating roster of 8 days on and 6 days off or 7 nights on and 7 nights off at Granny Smith

Key Responsibilities

• Install, operate and maintain underground paste reticulation and supporting systems including compressed air, ventilation, and water/dewatering infrastructure
• Perform scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance
• Coordinate prompt repairs of equipment to ensure operational efficiency
• Assist the team with handovers and provide technical guidance
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the work environment

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Manual driver's licence (current)
• Experience working in underground mining operations, especially in services or paste crew roles
• Possession of Dangerous Goods Card and Working at Heights tickets is beneficial
