Responsibilities

• Operate equipment designed for cleaning parts during different stages of the production process.
• Perform cleaning tasks including air drying and buffing of parts as part of the workflow.
• Submerge metal products into chemical solutions for cleaning and stripping of contaminants.
• Maintain and clean tanks and equipment used in the cleaning process, including monitoring chemical concentrations through titration.
• Move across various production assignments that require different skill endorsements to support overall manufacturing needs.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and promptly report any unsafe conditions or practices.
• Prepare and mask surfaces before the cleaning process to ensure quality outcomes.
• Inspect parts for any machining defects and communicate issues to supervisors or management teams.
• Review part specification sheets to select the appropriate cleaning tools for each job.
• Count parts and keep accurate records of quantities before transferring them to subsequent production stations.
• Carry out any other tasks deemed necessary or assigned to optimize company efficiency.

Requirements

• Possession of a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Experience with the use of tools such as grinders, tape measures, forklifts, and overhead lifting equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing assigned tasks.
