About the Role

A reputable UK law firm is establishing a new office in Dubai and is seeking entrepreneurial Partners to lay the foundation of its local operation. The successful candidate will have the autonomy to cultivate their own practice, bring existing clients, influence the strategic direction of the Dubai office, and build a team aligned with their expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Grow and manage an independent legal practice and client portfolio within the Dubai office.
• Play a vital role in launching and shaping the firm's new Dubai branch.
• Recruit and mentor a team to expand the practice area as the business evolves.
• Identify and develop synergistic practice areas to facilitate cross-practice referrals and opportunities.
• Adopt an entrepreneurial approach to business growth, exercising freedom to build your own client base.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified senior lawyer in England & Wales with a strong professional background.
• Possess a transferable book of business and proven client networks.
• Entrepreneurially minded, eager to establish a practice from the ground level.
• Substantial experience in at least one target sector: Digital Assets, Crypto Regulation, Commercial Litigation, Corporate Compliance, Insolvency Litigation, or Arbitration.
• Motivated by the chance to influence a new office's strategic direction and grow a team progressively.

Compensation and Incentives

Partners are salaried with two bonus plans: a discretionary bonus and an uncapped commission system. Commissions are earned from revenue generated by the Partner’s introductions, including work assigned to other team members. There is no mandated minimum book size—the emphasis is on the ability to develop a significant practice and team over time.
