About Epic Swim

Epic Swim is dedicated to delivering exceptional swimming instruction that focuses on nurturing fundamental motor skills, coordination, and athletic capabilities. They emphasize a structured curriculum, innovative technologies to enhance learning outcomes, and professional development for their coaches.

Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual passionate about using sports as an educational tool for children. The role involves coaching Swim Physical Education and Learn to Swim classes for children aged three years and above. The instructor will collaborate closely with the General Manager and become an integral part of a motivated coaching community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver swimming lessons following the Epic Swim curriculum tailored for Learn to Swim and Swim PE students.
  • Complete in-house training and mentorship by senior coaches before leading classes independently.
  • Provide parents with prompt updates regarding their child's developmental progress and maintain detailed student records.
  • Participate regularly in workshops and courses to enhance coaching capabilities and apply new knowledge.
  • Administer program-related paperwork including meet registrations, attendance tracking, performance metrics, and documenting workshops attended.
  • Represent the Epic Swim brand by maintaining a professional demeanor and actively engaging in the coaches' community.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • No prior swim coaching experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided.
  • A strong passion for sports and teaching young children, with an ability to provide nurturing care.
  • Preferred but not essential swim experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate as part of a team with an eagerness to learn and improve.
  • Fluency in English along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Completion of a 52-hour paid practical coaching attachment as part of the training program is mandatory.

Employment Details

  • Available as both full-time and part-time roles, also suitable for students.
  • Work location is exclusively onsite in Singapore.
