About the Role
Jovie seeks compassionate, flexible back-up nannies to support multiple families in Los Angeles. This part-time position offers the opportunity to work with children from infancy through toddlerhood, primarily under 2 years old. Ideal candidates have experience as babysitters, daycare workers, retired educators, or volunteers, and desire a flexible schedule that accommodates other commitments.
Responsibilities
- Care for children within their homes without the need to transport them.
- Maintain tidy play or meal areas by performing reasonable clean-up tasks related to activities.
- Provide safety and engage children using age-appropriate, hands-on activities tailored to their developmental needs.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage ranges from $20 to $22.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Demonstrated experience with children, including mandatory care of infants.
- Reliable transportation and readiness to travel to various homes.
- Availability for shifts of 6 to 8 hours on any three or more weekdays between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
- Strong communication skills, responsiveness to staffing supervisors, and a warm, positive demeanor toward families.
