This is an excellent chance for a skilled Panel Beater to work with cutting-edge equipment and manufacturer-approved procedures.
Role Overview
The Panel Beater will perform vehicle panel repairs adhering to manufacturer standards, handle the removal and refit of Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim (MET) components, and either repair or replace damaged vehicle panels. The role requires ensuring all repairs meet the highest quality and safety standards while maintaining productivity and cycle time goals. Identifying and reporting any additional damage and maintaining a tidy, safe, and well-organized workspace are also key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute panel repairs compliant with manufacturer guidelines.
- Remove and refit MET components professionally.
- Repair or replace vehicle panels as needed.
- Ensure that all work complies with quality and safety requirements.
- Work efficiently to meet productivity and turnaround targets.
- Identify extra damage and report it accurately.
- Keep the work environment clean, organized, and safe.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Panel Beater in an accident repair setting.
- Competency in performing own MET work.
- Strong knowledge of current vehicle construction and repair methods.
- Familiarity with repairing various vehicle makes and models.
- Industry-recognized ATA or NVQ qualification.
- Possession of a full UK driving license.
- Positive mindset and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to operate independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Must provide own tools.
