Job description
Job Overview
This position involves the wiring, layout, and installation of control hardware like PLCs, DCS systems, contactor relays, and protection relays across various control panel setups. Candidates should have at least one year of relevant experience, mechanical aptitude, proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, and strong problem-solving skills. The role demands both independent and collaborative work and the ability to work overtime as necessary. Training will be provided for those without prior control panel wiring experience.
Responsibilities
- Assemble brackets, mounts, and supports on power units, gensets or other industrial machinery and components.
- Prepare and install various hoses including pneumatic and hydraulic types.
- Clean and paint skids, brackets, mounts, and piping.
- Install belts, lines, electrical wiring, harnesses, and other related items.
- Execute assigned tasks precisely and promptly to comply with production timelines.
- Provide support for additional business activities as needed.
- Maintain focus on customer needs and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety protocols to ensure personal and team safety.
- Share technical knowledge and expertise with coworkers.
Candidate Profile
- Education: High School Diploma or DEP is preferred.
- Experience: Between 6 to 12 months in a similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of mechanics or equipment assembly is advantageous.
- Basic electrical knowledge required.
- Welding skills are considered a plus.
