Job description
Role Overview
The Painter position involves delivering exceptional craftsmanship in preparing metal surfaces and applying durable, high-grade finishes on products manufactured by Badger Infrastructure Solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply paint coatings to products such as Hydrovac equipment in line with company standards.
- Implement quality control steps including inspections for defects between each paint coat application.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and conduct daily checks on paint spray machinery and related equipment.
- Prepare metal parts for painting and manage proper disposal of waste materials complying with regulations.
- Provide training and support to colleagues on handling, cleaning, and upkeep of painting tools as well as mixing and applying primers and advanced coatings to metal surfaces to achieve desired finish quality.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- At least six months of practical experience as a spray painter in manufacturing settings.
- Physical capability to handle and move items exceeding 25 pounds.
- Ability to distinguish between colors accurately.
- Experience with sandblasting is advantageous but not mandatory.
Compensation and Growth
Hourly wages will be commensurate with experience. There are ample prospects for salary increments and professional development within the company.
