Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time Painter to work on-site at our Navi Mumbai property. The successful candidate will prepare surfaces, mix and apply paints and coatings, ensuring premium finishes both inside and outside the hotel premises – including guest rooms, public areas, and service zones. Daily responsibilities involve inspecting for damage, performing minor surface repairs, sanding, priming, and utilizing multiple painting techniques such as brushing, rolling, and spraying while adhering to safety protocols and hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect surfaces for imperfections or damages requiring repair before painting.
• Prepare and prime surfaces by sanding and cleaning to guarantee paint adherence.
• Mix and apply paints, varnishes, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment to achieve uniform, high-quality finishes.
• Maintain and clean painting tools and equipment to ensure readiness and longevity.
• Estimate the quantity of materials needed for each painting task accurately.
• Coordinate work schedules with maintenance and housekeeping departments to minimize guest disturbances.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Demonstrated practical skills in painting interior and exterior surfaces.
• Proficient in painting and decorating techniques to produce clean and appealing finishes in guest and public areas.
• Good knowledge of selecting and applying coatings that provide durability and aesthetic appeal.
• Experienced in spray painting methods for efficient and even application.
• Previous professional experience in painting within hospitality, commercial, or residential environments is advantageous.
• Ability to interpret basic instructions, safety procedures, and work orders with a keen eye for detail and quality assurance.
• Thorough understanding and adherence to workplace safety standards, proper use of personal protective equipment, and safe handling of paints and chemicals.
• Physical capability to perform tasks requiring standing, bending, lifting, and working at heights when necessary.
• Flexibility to work hours aligned with operational demands.
