Painter

Overview

Broadstreet Properties Ltd., a family-owned property management company in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, is seeking a versatile Painter to join their Saskatchewan Regional Office team. This role requires maintaining the aesthetic quality of apartment and townhome properties by ensuring all vacated units and common areas are painted to "market ready" standards promptly.

Key Duties

• Inspect and paint vacated apartments, completing necessary documentation.
• Execute major repainting projects in hallways, common areas, and office spaces as assigned by the Specialty Teams Supervisor.
• Communicate painting priorities and progress with supervisors.
• Repair damages on walls, caulking tubs, and ceramic tiles.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization by properly cleaning and storing brushes, rollers, and equipment daily.
• Perform any other related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the painting trade.
• Proficient knowledge of painting tools, equipment, materials, and application techniques.
• Skilled in preparation and application of paints, stains, and surface preparation materials on diverse surfaces.
• Physically fit, with flexibility and mobility to use ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Highly organized, able to manage tasks efficiently and work with urgency.
• Capable of working under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Committed to maintaining a high standard of safety and cleanliness.
• Good communication skills and ability to understand and follow instructions accurately.
• Willingness and ability to travel between job sites as required.
