Job Responsibilities

• Apply lacquers, rust-resistant agents, and various coatings on multiple surfaces.
• Execute specialized finishing methods including marbling and graining.
• Prepare materials for painting by adjusting tint, tone, matching colors, blending, and mixing additives.
• Use brushes and other applicable tools to paint items.
• Operate spray guns as an essential aspect of painting processes.
• Manage transportation of items to and from designated work locations.
• Follow detailed instructions derived from routings, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail to ensure precise application and prevent flaws in coatings.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Have between zero and two years of experience involving surface preparation and coating application techniques.
• Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of established surface preparation and finishing methods.
• May be assigned specific roles based on the type of articles painted.
• Must be a U.S. citizen eligible to obtain and retain a U.S. Government security clearance.
