Role Overview and Responsibilities

  • Execute various painting and decorating assignments across multiple Scape London sites efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Follow directions from the Maintenance Manager to ensure projects meet company and safety standards.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines while performing all tasks.
  • Maintain a professional and customer-oriented demeanor towards residents.
  • Continuously monitor and provide updates concerning the appearance and upkeep of public areas.
  • Establish and nurture cooperative working relationships within the Maintenance team to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding decoration project plans, minimizing disruption to residents while meeting operational goals.
  • Perform additional tasks related to the role as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Core expertise in painting and decorating essential.
  • Experience in a similar work environment is favorable.
  • High flexibility for varied shift patterns between 7am and 8pm, including weekends.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Innovative, proactive, and reliable with the ability to use initiative.
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions and start early when needed.
  • General handyman skills considered an advantage.
  • Fluent English language skills required.
  • Friendly, approachable personality with a customer service focus.
  • Ability to travel between different Scape sites in London.

Working Hours and Location

40 hours per week across various shift patterns between 7am and 8pm, Monday through Sunday, working onsite at multiple Scape properties in London.

Additional Information and Requirements

Successful candidates must undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check prior to commencing employment.
