Job description
About the Role
Reading Truck is seeking Paint Preppers/Caulkers for the first shift in its Paint Department located in Claremore, OK. This role operates on a four-day 10-hour work schedule from Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential overtime on Fridays as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare all truck equipment orders for painting processing.
- Support painters with tasks such as painting, masking, and taping.
- Assist in basic repair work when necessary.
- Conduct quality assurance checks before and after the painting process.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management at any time.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including safe work practices and standard operating procedures.
- Handle, move, or manage administrative tasks related to hazardous materials as required.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge or understanding of fabrication is advantageous.
