Role Overview
The Packing Machine Operator position is a full-time, on-site role located at the Tiffany Foods L.L.C facility in Ajman. This role involves the setup, operation, and monitoring of packing machinery to ensure products are packaged in compliance with stringent quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure machine settings and load packaging materials as required.
- Operate packing equipment, monitor its performance, and handle minor jams or issues to maintain smooth operation.
- Conduct basic preventive maintenance and regular checks on the machines.
- Inspect packed goods to adhere to quality control standards and complete relevant production logs.
- Report any malfunctions, deviations, or safety concerns promptly to supervisors.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
- Strictly follow health, safety, and food hygiene protocols throughout the production process.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Demonstrable experience operating packing machinery with basic mechanical aptitude.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures ensuring safe, precise, and consistent packaging.
- Hands-on experience in using machinery and hand tools for routine adjustments, maintenance, and troubleshooting minor issues.
- Effective communication skills for coordination with supervisors and team members to report operational issues clearly.
- Prior exposure to food manufacturing or analogous production settings is beneficial.
- Willingness to work in shifts, stand for prolonged durations, and adhere to safety and hygiene standards rigorously.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading instructions, completing documentation, and following standard operating procedures.
